They use round shields, and are covered in partial chain-mail. They prefer to fight single-handed, or in small packs, but can also combine into a larger shieldwall or Boar's Snout.
Viking Archers are usually young men who are not old enough to fight experienced soldiers in combat. They wear little to no armour, making them highly vulnerable. A brillian master of battlefield tactics, William's military conquest and hunger for power, have won him much of Northern France.
With the belief that England is rightfully his, William is willing to die in its conquest, but without him Norman army may be less willing to continue the fight. Norman knights are the tanks of the medieval battlefields. They wear full chainmail and metal helmets, and carry long kite-shaped shields to protect their vulnerable legs. Knights are excellent at charging down the enemy, but a solid shield-wall is a tough barrier even for these elite units.
Norman Men-At-Arms are well-equipped and well-trained soldiers. They wield spears and swords and have good attack and defence. On Silvergames. Some simply let you make the agonizing decision of sending out your soldiers to be unceremoniously cut down by enemy fire.
