In reply to mounter's post on November 25, Open Windows Live Mail. Uncheck Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing.

If you right click on an old account email, you can select Reply to sender or Forward. This will open a compose message window. Click on From and change to the Google Business account. You will be able to send now. Do not open an outlook. You can move emails between accounts, but you cannot move folders between accounts. This applies to Windows Live Mail or outlook. I am using windows live mail, windows 7, circa I have an active email account with Comcast, and an inactive email account with Centurylink. There might also be a visual alert that a message is unread, has an attachment, or is flagged.
